Music Links

FolkWords Music Links includes a selection of fine songwriters, singers and bands. The list may change periodically as something new and exciting catches my ear but you can be sure that a visit to any of the sites below will be worth the effort.

Here you will find the long established and the newly arrived, the young and the old, the well known and the obscure, the leading lights and the dark corners of folk music. They are fine people from all over this thing called folk. These are people who in my opinion are a driving force (or well on their way) in their particular slice of folk music and worth listening to - and to watch their progress.

To listen some more to those you do know and to hear those you don't, just roll the cursor over the photographs below and click on the link to visit their site.
